Since its inception in 1988 and having acquired Deemed University status in 2003, the Management, Administration and leaders at Dr. M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute have charted a direction for the university that has ensured expansive and elastic thinking. Faculty of Architecture, Dr M. G. R. Educational and Research Institute was instituted in the year 1993 with the intent to a multidimensional approach in providing education in architecture. Upon achieving its prestigious status of deemed to be university in the year 2003, there was a renewed focus and emergence of ideas for change.

- +2 with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics.

- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture with minimum aggregate score of 50%.
