Faculty of Architecture, Dr M. G. R. Educational and Research Institute has been setting exemplary standards since its establishment in the year 1993 with the intent to put our campus on global map.
Upon achieving its prestigious status of deemed to be university in the year 2003, there was a renewed focus and emergence of ideas for change.
The Department of Architecture attained its Faculty of Architecture status in 2011 and has been continuously evolving as global leader in imparting architectural education.
Over the course of 30 years, the Faculty of Architecture has seen 25 successful graduating batches from 1993 to 2023. Now, as it enters its 30th year, the faculty is all set to celebrate its Pearl Anniversary, upholding the essence of empowering brilliant and creative minds, taking it to the world beyond ordinary.
Located in the heart of Chennai Metropolis, the Faculty of Architecture currently offers Undergraduate, Postgraduate and PhD programs.
